I'm scheduled to speak to the Opus Dei student group at Concordia Seminary - St. Louis this Thursday, March 29, at 7:00pm. This will be both a practical workshop on the ceremonies of Lutheran worship and a close look at what Ap. XXIV and FC SD X have to say about how Lutherans worship.
If you have field workers, former vicars, or parishioners at CSL, please encourage them to attend. I think we will be meeting in the small sanctuary in the chapel undercroft.

Great! As one of the prior organizers for Opus Dei, (1997ish) I'm pleased to know it's still going! God's blessings to you as you present.
ReplyDeleteIt was started up again in 2009-2010. I was a 4th year in 2008-2009, and midway through the year found it in the records and was able to work with the some students in their 1st, 2nd, and Vicarage years to get it going after I left. I believe Dustin Beck did a lot of the work to get it back up and running again.
ReplyDeletefinish up quickly. Some of us Fort Wayne students are coming down for a CSL visit that night. We want the real-ontic, authentic, contextual CSL experience! :)
ReplyDeleteSean,
ReplyDeleteWhat time are you getting there? The more the merrier.
