We've always had kneelers at my congregation (in Southeast Missouri) but I always thought it strange when we visited Great Grandma Scholl and Great-Great Grandpa Hoehne at Trinity Altenburg when I was a little kid and watched them all stand up for Communion around the front of the altar.
