Our Lord rose on the “Feast of the Beginning of the Harvest” also called the “Feast of the First Fruits” (Leviticus 23:9-12). In His rising, He waved the “omer” before the Father, symbolizing His own resurrection and that of those who were resurrected in Jerusalem at that time, as the “first fruits” of all those who will rise from the dead until the end of time.<br />He is risen indeed!
